THE LOGIC

A sweep. A close. A clear signal.

Previous-day, Asia and London highs and lows form the liquidity map. A sweep requires a closed candle to penetrate the level by the configured ATR threshold and close back inside. A close beyond the level consumes it as a break. Each level produces only one event; the forming candle is never evaluated.

Default penetration is 0.10 × ATR, using a 14-period ATR. Invalid or warming-up ATR values cannot produce a sweep. Alerts are suppressed during initial loading and history rebuilds.

A confirmed sweep is a price event, not a promise of reversal. The indicator analyzes the chart and never submits trades.

THE LIQUIDITY MAP

Three sources. One chart.

  • Previous-day high and low from broker-date chart bars.
  • Asia session: 00:00–08:00 by default.
  • London session: 08:00–12:00 by default.
  • Configurable windows, including sessions that cross midnight.

All session times use broker server time. Align boundaries to your timeframe for exact ranges. M1–H1 support sessions; higher intraday periods show previous-day levels only. D1 and above are unsupported.

YOUR DISPLAY

Keep what matters in view.

  • Closed-bar sweep confirmation with ATR filtering
  • Previous-day, Asia and London liquidity levels
  • Today, N Days, All and Off display modes
  • Independent lines, arrows and labels
  • Chart-scoped display preferences
  • Popup, sound and push alert options

Today follows the server date of the latest chart candle. N Days includes today plus N previous calendar dates. Earlier dates are muted by default, or can be hidden. Display preferences survive timeframe changes and terminal restarts.

Off hides trading annotations while calculation and alerts continue. Labels require visible lines. Try the controls in the preview above.

Ask about the indicator

Before you add it to your chart.

Is this an indicator or an Expert Advisor?

AlgoFX Session Liquidity Sweeps is an MT5 custom indicator. It draws liquidity levels and confirmed sweep arrows. It does not place or manage trades.

How is a sweep confirmed?

A closed candle must exceed a high or low by the configured ATR penetration threshold and close back inside the level. The forming candle is never evaluated. A close beyond the level consumes it as a break.

Which sessions and timeframes are supported?

Previous-day levels plus configurable Asia and London sessions. M1–H1 support sessions; higher intraday periods show previous-day levels only. D1 and above are unsupported. Session times follow your broker’s server clock.

Does hiding the chart stop the calculations?

No. Today, N Days, All, Off and the display toggles affect annotations only. Full-history signal calculation and closed-bar alerts continue independently.

Can I download it yet?

The indicator is being prepared for publication. A release link and availability details will be added when ready. Contact AlbiFX with questions.

Does the indicator guarantee profitable trades?

No. Sweep signals describe price behavior and do not guarantee a reversal or profit. Test your settings on a demo chart and assess trading risk independently.
